By: Ed Huber, Contributing writer Cypress Falls junior Neil Caskey made his first trip to the Class 5A State Swim Meet a memorable one by winning both the 200-yard individual medley (IM) (1:50.04) and 100-yard butterfly (49.50) last week at Austin. It was Caskey's first year at state because he has been swimming exclusively in national meets with his club team, The Fleet, in hopes of qualifying for the 2008 Olympic Trials in Omaha, Neb. Regional Tennis Results In Regional Tennis, Abby Liu captured a first round victory (6-0,6-0) over a Deer Park competitor, advancing to the quarterfinals. In this round, Abby fell to a Cinco Ranch competitor (6-4, 6-4). Congratulations to all Eagle tennis players on another outstanding year!

CyFalls Tennis Serves Ace The CyFalls varsity tennis team has started the 2002-2003 season strong, following a second place district finish last year. On August 23, the varsity team played a pre-season match against Klein Forest , Elsik, and Cy-Fair and won 15-1, 12-0, and 10-7, respectively.
